Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ParcelRadar collects and uses personal data when you use the website parcelradar.app and the ParcelRadar mobile apps (together, the “Service”).

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by TECHNOLOGIJU ERA, UAB, Lithuania (“we”, “us”), the data controller for the processing described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@parcelradar.app.

2. Data we collect

Tracking numbers

When you track a parcel, we process the tracking number you enter and, if you choose one, the carrier. We use it to request the parcel’s status from the carrier or from our tracking data provider and to show you the result. Results are cached on our servers for a limited time so repeated look-ups are faster. On the website, tracking numbers are not linked to your name or account.

Push notifications (apps)

If you allow notifications in the app, we store your device’s push token (issued by Apple or Google) together with the tracking numbers you follow, so we can notify you when a parcel moves. When you delete a parcel or turn notifications off, the related subscription is removed. Subscriptions that are no longer refreshed by the app are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Sign in with Apple (apps, optional)

If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive an anonymous identifier from Apple and — only if you decide to share them — your name and email address. We use this only to recognise your account in the app.

Problem reports

If you send us a problem report from the app, we receive your message and, if you provide them, your email address and a tracking number. The app also attaches technical details: app version, operating system version, device model and an app-specific device identifier. We use this to investigate the issue and reply to you.

Technical data

Like any online service, our servers process technical data such as your IP address, browser or device type and the time of requests. We use it to deliver the Service, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting).

Cookies and analytics

The website uses necessary cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • Providing the Service — tracking parcels, sending the notifications you ask for, signing you in (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Security, caching and abuse prevention — our legitimate interest in running a reliable service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Answering problem reports — our legitimate interest in supporting users and fixing errors (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics cookies — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Legal obligations — where the law requires us to keep or disclose data (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf or that are needed to provide the Service:

  • our hosting provider;
  • parcel tracking data providers and carriers, which receive the tracking number to return its status;
  • Apple (Apple Push Notification service, Sign in with Apple) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging; Google Analytics on the website, with consent);
  • public authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep data

  • Tracking results are kept in our cache only as long as needed to serve repeat requests.
  • Push subscriptions are kept until you remove them, or for at most 90 days without app activity.
  • Problem reports are kept as long as needed to handle the report.
  • Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, write to info@parcelradar.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its “Last updated” date.
